Map of Transmission Lines as of July 2008:
The Proponents Environmental Assessment was released by Nevada Hydro in July and is available at their website here: www.leapsForward.org. Update maps are in Chapter 3. Note that the new map in the PEA matches the FERC staff alternative route published in October 2006 and shown here, but details are available that show specific tower placement with recognizable landscape features. When you download documents from leapsForward, make sure you right click and choose download or save as. Some of the files you are requesting are very large.
Download January 2008 map:
This is a response dated 14 January 2008 from Nevada Hydro to the The Fish and Wildlife per its request for the exact location of towers and service roads. NOTE: this is a large file, so it's recommended that you right-click and choose "Save Target As..." to download to your computer before opening it.
Route and tower placement as of January 2008. (Maps begin on page 20 of this document.)
